| News: As of the 'j' release, Socket Wrappers is about ready for a stable release. The code has been extensively reworked and checked. It now seemlessly handles both IPv6 & IPv4 connections. It is also thread-safe, too. Several bugs in the original implementation have been fixed...so socket_wrappers should (in theory) be more secure than tcp_wrappers. If you program in C, socket_wrappers needs peer review. Since this code is security critical, it must be thoroughly checked before it is to be trusted. I've spent a lot of time going over it and testing it, but it needs other people to review it. Let me know if you have any thoughts on improvements.
